Flow Blue 'Pekin' Royal Staffordshire Wilkinson Platter
This is a flow blue platter by the Wilkinson company which is of the Royal Staffordshire family. The pattern is 'PEKIN' which is an oriental influenced pattern as you can see. Unusual is the heavy application of solid blue in the pattern. This is an absolutely stunning platter. It measures 10 3/4" long, 7 1/2" wide and 1" deep. There are no chips, cracks, dings or other damage. I date this from the late 1890's, the company formed in 1896, to the first quarter of the 1900's. Happy Collecting!!!!!!!
