Typical of the ornamental knick-knacks the Victorians would display on their what-not stands, this vase has a cornucopia form, supported by branches with leaves and flowers. White body and ground color, leaves in flowers in natural colors. Blue edging around top opening. Unmarked, probably English or continental, ca. 1870.
Size: Approximately 4.5" high.
Condition: Excellent. A couple chips to applied flowers. One glazed-over chip during manufacture. No other chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
