Dry-body stoneware (white felspathic stoneware) creamer ca. 1805, attributed to Chethan & Woolley. Relief molded off-white body with classical scenes "the power of love", leaf, medallions, and geometric motifs, unusual green trim. Glazed interior. Unmarked.

See Berthoud: A Directory of British Teapots pl. 907; English Dry-bodied Stoneware by Edwards and Hampson for examples of this pattern.

Size: Approximately 6.5" long, 3.75" high

Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.

Item ID: 7601
