Sterling Serving Spoon "Strasbourg" by Gorham

The Strasbourg pattern was introduced in 1897 by Gorham. Moderately ornate, it is not overly fussy. This spoon has Gorham marks, patent date, and "Sterling". Three letter script monogram on front. The shaped bowl has traces of gold wash.

Condition: Good. Gold wash faint, usage scratches in bowl.

Size: Approximately 8.625" long.

Weight: Approximately 80 grams (2.56 troy ounces)

Estate silver will be in used condition, but I will take care to note any defects or condition problems arising from heavy use or abuse.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
