This English porcelain coffee can and saucer is decorated with a cobalt band with gilding. Unmarked, but Berthoud attributes this ring-handled, 16 panel shape to New Hall. Design is typical of tea/coffee wares of this period.
Size: Saucer approximately 5.5" diameter, can approximately 2.5" high, 2.5" diameter.
Condition: Very good. Small sliver on one edge of saucer that appears to be from contact with another item during firing. No other chips, cracks or repairs.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, returns are no problem if I happen to miss anything.
