Antique Sheffield Plate Candlesticks

Pair antique English Sheffield plate candlesticks. Columnar shafts with ring, shaped bases. Relief ornamentation of grapes and leaves on bases, at bottom of shafts and on bobeches. Felt on bases, which are probably filled with pitch and/or lead. A handsome pair of nineteenth century sticks.

Size: Approximately 9.25" high, 4.25 base diameter

Condition: Good. Some minor dents, general wear and wear through to copper in areas commensurate with age. One bobeche is stuck in place, and I don't want to force it trying to remove. Photographs taken before any cleaning or polishing.

Estate silver will be in used condition, but I will take care to note any defects or condition problems arising from heavy use or abuse.
