Antique Mulberry Ironstone Pitcher, Corean Pattern ca. 1855

Large hollow ware pieces in excellent condition are getting harder and harder to find. This mulberry ironstone pitcher in the popular Corean pattern is about as good as they get. Tall octagonal shape, with romantic scene around mid section, and wide scrolling border at top, inside and out. This popular Mulberry pattern was made by Podmore, Walker & Co. in the mid-19th century. This piece has good contrast, with a deep, rich transfer. Not marked.

Size: Approximately 11.5" high

Note: International shipping is not available for this item.

Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs, and only the most minor of imperfections.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
