Pearlware Tea Bowl and Saucer circa 1800

A really sweet little pearlware tea bowl with saucer circa 1800. Not child sized, but a reflection of the expense of tea at that time. Grey chain with scattered floral sprays, fine blue edging around rims of both pieces. You can really see the grey/blue glaze inside footrims of both pieces. Impressed numeral "5" on saucer (probably shape number). No manufacturer's mark.

Size: Saucer diameter approximately 4.375"; tea bowl top diameter 2.625" Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
