Barr Period Worcester Porcelain Bowl circa 1800

This is a white porcelain waste bowl, Worcester, made during the "Barr" period. Border and center have a grape and leaf design in deep brown (with purple cast), with tendrils and bands of gilt. Marked with faint incised "B" (mark used 1792-1804), along with painted number "7".

Size: Approximately 6.75" diameter, 3" high

Condition: Much wear to interior bottom and to gilding of top interior band. Other gilding wear slight. No chips, cracks or repairs.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
