Manilla Flow Blue Ironstone 8.5” Plate ca. 1850

A good example of the Manilla pattern by Podmore, Walker, Co., England, circa 1850. This is one of the most popular flow blue ironstone patterns, due to its rich deep flow, and this one has the deep color, flowing, and a nice clean shiny glaze. Impressed and printed marks.

Size: Approximately 8.5" diameter.

Condition: Excellent. Best condition I have ever seen on one of these – looks unused!. No chips, cracks or repairs.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
