Ashworth (Mason's) Ironstone Bowl circa 1900
Pattern is a version of 3623 (shown in Godden's Gide to Mason's china and the Ironstone Wares, but with different treatment of the gilding design). Mark is Ashworth's continuation of the "Mason's Patent Ironstone" printed mark, with "England", therefore I would date this circa 1900. A lovely example of decoration and gilding.
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks or repairs.
Size: Approximately 10.25" diameter, 4.25" high.
Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
