Yellow Cut Glass Decanter ca. 1910

This yellow or citron color decanter is cut in the Anglo/Irish style. This style underwent a revival in the Edwardian period, and I would date it to then, circa 1910.

The stopper has a star cut in top, with panel cutting around body. The decanter has a honeycomb cut neck, notches, cross-hatch panels and flutes, and a fluted base. There is a star cut in the bottom. A lovely colored decanter in a classic design.

Size: Approximately 12" high (including stopper), base 4" diameter; stopper top 2.5" diameter.

Condition: Chip and some roughness on stopper base, slight residue in bottom. No other chips, cracks or repairs.

Note that I try to be conservative about condition descriptions, carefully noting any flaws. Of course, with antique items, there will be some signs of usage, and/or manufacturing defects. But overall, my customers have always been pleasantly surprised upon receiving their items, and of course, I would expect a return if I happen to miss anything.
