5 Beautiful Side Bowls Limoges Porcelain ~ Hand Painted with Various Sea Shells ~ Limoges France 1891+

What a wonderful little set to use with a white setting to hold dinner rolls or crab shells!!! The artist has painted various golden sea shells and sea life creatures around the rim. He has intermingled dark green see weeds through the shells giving the motif a nice contrast against the golden shells. He has placed the shells on a sea blue green background. Separating the white center he has added green dots and squiggles adding a nice touch. Three of the bowls have very small underneath rim chips that cannot be seen from the top. There are no, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
