Elegant, Stylish and Large! 11 3/4 '' Porcelain Vase ~ Cream Vellum and Gold Embossed ~ HEINRICH & CO. Selb Bavaria 1896+

This is really a crowd stopper! The shape of this vase is very unique and really sets it apart from other vases. The bulbous base graduates up to a cylinder shape and ends in a rolled out lip for the rim. This vase has a flat or 'bisque' non-glossy cream colored surface called 'VELLUM' which, in this instance, adds to the elegance of this masterful work of art. The crowd stopper is the awesome wide gold band around the upper portion of the neck. The artist has embossed shapes in a cameo effect with having the raised designs in a glossy gold and the recessed portion in a frosted gold. Simple but yet so elegant! There are no hairlines, chips or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc
