Awesome Austrian Porcelain Vase ~ Hand painted with Orange Poppies and Daisies ~ Signed L. Banzhaf 1920'S

This artist rates amonge the best in my book! His artwork on this lovely trumpet shaped vase is phenomenal. He has used a green gray mottled background using deeper colors to resemble flowers and leaves. He has added velvety soft orange poppies on long green stems. The poppies have a slight mixture of yellows on the orange petals to compliment its yellow-green centers. He has added black flecks to the centers of the flowers giving them a very realistic look. Mixed with the full blossom poppies are unopened buds waiting their turn to open. He has also added white and yellow daisies mixed throughout the motif. The artist has placed a wide gold band around the lower portion and the upper outturned rim. Delicate scrolls and lattice work are hand painted with gold under the upper gold rim. The piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. The artist "L. Banzhaf" has taken pride in his/her work and signed this piece. I have found this vase marked with the PL Limoges Company mark, they were US importers of Austrian and French Porcelain. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
