Wedgwood Longfellow Series Paul Revere Cabinet Plate ~ Red & White Transferware ~ Wedgwood Barlaston Stoke-on-Trent England 1895-1910
This plate has a wonderful deep red and white transfer of flowers around the rim and a geometric design on the edge. The center of the plate, also done in the reds and white, depicts Paul Revere getting on his horse for the renown ride. A house and trees are in the distance. The different hues of the reds work so well together on this plate you will surely love it! There are no hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
