PICKARD Bavarian Porcelain 10 7/8'' Gold Embossed Cabinet Plate with Nasturtium Floral Design ~ PICKARD Heinrich & Co Selb BAVARIA ca. 1920's

The plate has been intricately embossed with cartouches and scrolling designs in gold. The makers have chosen a multi-colored pastel background for the center and have hand painted Nasturtium floral pattern with rust, yellow, white and orange flowers nestled in tall green grass in the center. It is stunning and would make wonderful decorating pieces. Pickard Studio’s are very well know for their gold encrusted method of painting porcelain and this plate is a wonderful example of just that! There are no hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc. Please see our other Pickard plates that would accompany this beautifully.
