Delightful Little German Porcelain Plate ~ Hand Painted with White and Red Roses ~ Artist Signed ~ TETTAU PORCELAIN FACTORY (ROYAL BAYREUTH) (Germany) - ca 1902 - ca 1930s

What a gorgeous little plate, just the right size for a wonderful accent piece. This plate has been hand painted with a wide gold rim and a beige background. Within the gold rim the artist has painted variegated green leaves in small groups. Around the well of the plate she has painted gorgeous red roses, and white roses with red centers intermingled with green leaves in a wreath shape. The artist has signed this piece on one of the leaves but it is illegible. The red and white roses definitely get ones attention. There are no hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
