Exceptional Limoges Porcelain Cabinet Plate ~ Hand Painted with Gold and Yellow Roses ~ Haviland & Co France 1894-1931

Yellow roses bring to mind all of the sunny, cheerful feelings of warmth and happiness. The yellow rose is purely a symbol for friendship so make that friend special with this wonderful piece! Some very talented artist has done a wonderful rendition of yellow roses on this Haviland blank. He has added awesome gold rings around the center well and has incorporated a lattice work design on one side. In the center he has painted beautiful yellow rose blossoms on green stems and has intermingled variegated leaves around them. The yellow roses and the gold design are on a creamy white background letting them shine through. There are no hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
