Pickard Studio Hand Painted Art Nouveau Purple Morning Glory Design Porcelain Plate 6 ¾" – 1912-1918

The use of gold is one of Pickard's trademarks and it definitely shows on this plate. This pretty plate has two thin gold rings and one large gold ring within the design, plus has a gold rim. The larger gold ring is outlined in black and has 3 designs interspersed around it. The design is made up of purple morning glory flowers and vines accent with gold. There are no chips or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
