Nice 11 ¼" Bavarian / German Porcelain Wall Charger ~ Rendition of the Melon or Dice Boys ~ CARL SCHUMANN Bavaria / Germany 1960-1970

This large charge has a beautiful brown background that recedes into a light beige at the center and is accented with gold. The center features a transfer inspired by the original painting “Melon or Dice Boys” by the Spanish Artist Murillo. The boys look like they are having a wonderful time eating the fruit will the dog patiently waits for one of them to drop some! There are a few surface scuffs, please see pictures. There are no cracks, or crazing, manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
