Limoges Plates Hand Painted, Signed Yellow Roses – Latrille Freres ca 1908-1913

This Limoges plate has scalloped gold trimmed edging. The plate has two yellow roses accented with red and white. Petals and leaves are scattered over the plate adding a realistic feel. The background is a soft light green around the edge that gradually blends into the cream center. This plate is signed by the artist and is in excellent condition.

Double backstamp are on the bottom with the Latrille Freres, Mark 3, Old Abbey, Limoges, overglaze decorating mark in green, ca 1908-1913. The second mark shows the Legrand, underglaze white ware mark in green, star between two crescent shapes with Limoges, France, ca 1908-1913

Plate measure 6 7/8” in diameter.
