This is truly a masterpiece done by an unknown artist on an unmarked piece of white ware!!! In my opinion it would be picked before some of the well known Limoges artist work! The artist “E. Logsdom” has done one of the best renditions of blackberries I’ve seen in a long time. Each fleshy lobe in a blackberry is actually an individual fruit, but they are joined at their bases. By using different shades of purple and whites she has made each piece of the blackberry so defined it truly is its own separate fruit. Amongst the ripe delicious looking berries she has added the white flowers and green unripe berries on thorny branches. She has also intermingled soft pink wild roses and green and brown leaves with the fruit. If you have never picked wild blackberries you truly do find wild roses growing right there with them. She has placed this awesome work of art on a light blue, pink and cream background, tying the colors back to the fruit and flowers. This charger has a wonderful wooden frame that pushes it over the top!!!! There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc. Backstamp: No mark
Measures: 14 ¼” with frame and 12” without
