Great Majolica Cabinet Plate with Apples ~KELLER & GUERIN - ca. 1890s - 1930s

Wonderful brick red light green and cream colored background makes this plate pop. Beautiful apples are done in red, and bright yellow colors giving this plate a contrasting color scheme. Variegated green leaves are intermingled with in the group of fruit. The plates rim is gently scalloped, embossed and highlighted with gilding for maximum impact. . IT IS RARE TO FIND VINTAGE AND ANTIQUE MAJOLICA IN "LIKE NEW" CONDITION BECAUSE OF WEAR FROM USE AND AGE. TINY GLAZE FLAKES AND CRAZING IF PRESENT IS NORMAL AND ADDS CHARACTER TO EACH PIECE.
