Attractive Limoges France Porcelain Cabinet Plate ~ Hand Painted with Delicious Blackberries ~ Artist Initialed ~ Jean Pouyat JPL ~ 1890-1932

This plate has been expertly hand painted with life-like purple blackberries, and white blossoms. The artist has painted beautiful green leaves around the berries and flowers. He also has extended vines around each side of the plate with the same foliage and berry design. This fruit motif has been placed on a background of red violet, pale blue, lavender, antique rose, and a buttery yellow. A gold rim accents this plate giving it just a little added touch. The artist has initialed this plate with "LE". There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc. This would look very nice hanging in a dinning room or kitchen!!
