Porcelain Cabinet Plate ~ Hand Painted with Sunset Farm House Scene ~ F Thomas Porcelain 1908+ "Sevres Pattern"

The artist has painted a beautiful farm house scene on this porcelain plate. He softens the look by making the rim of the plate a light beige color which brings your focus to the center of the plate. In the center he has painted a road starting at one edge that makes you feel like you are walking down it. The road leads to a farm house that he has painted in the distance with a beautiful violet, blue, green and yellow sunset on the horizon. He has placed tall aspen like trees on one side behind the house and smaller pine trees on the other side enclosing the road and house as almost to protect it. The artist has done all the hues in beautiful fall colors. I can just picture the owner after a hard day in the fields coming home to this. It would definitely make all your problems vanish! Plate is in excellent condition.
