Exquisite Limoges Porcelain Cabinet Plate ~ Bird Nest Gold Gilt ~ Haviland Limoges France 1876-1889

What a work of artistry! This rare and beautiful hand painted Haviland Limoges plate depicts a stunning pair of birds in their humble nest. The raised gold runs throughout the scene and the delicate pink flowers create a fitting backdrop. The raised gold has been used to outline and add detail to this wonderful masterpiece. There is very minor gold ware to the inner gold circle around the well of the plate. Manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
