Rare Egg Plate ~ 6 Well ~ Ranson Blank~ Haviland Limoges Porcelain ~ Blue flowers ~ Haviland France 1888-1896

You don't see these very often so you better snatch it up while it lasts! The plate has raised gold leaf decoration around each egg well and edge. The handle is a raised portion of the dish and has been enhanced with gold accents. Transfers of light blue and white flowers mixed with green leaves on wispy stems are decorating this lovely piece. Nora Travis's book, HAVILAND CHINA The Age of Elegance has this mold on Page 82. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
