Nice 10" Porcelain Cabinet Plate ~ Angelica Kaufmann ~ Transfer on Cobalt and Gold ~ VICTORIA PORCELAIN - SCHMIDT & CO. Bohemia - ca 1891 - 1918

This beautiful porcelain cabinet plate features a classic Angelica Kaufmann signed transfer print as its central design attractive ladies and warrior in a woodland setting. This is enclosed in enriched cameo gold with raised gold beading on edge. A golden swag is on the outer edge of the gold and is laid on the cobalt rim. Gold transfer designs are around the cobalt blue rim. The gold on the cobalt rim shows wear and there are a few scratches on the transfer; please see pictures for condition. This piece has no chips or cracks. Manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
