2 Wonderful Hand Painted Framed Watercolors of Boats in an Outlet ~ By OL Hatley July 1937

The Artist Olga Lucy Hatley 1893-1967 from Alma Arkansas is listed in American Art Directory, Volume 14 By American Federation of Arts. In one painting she has painted two boats quietly adrift in the water of a cove. Green trees and shore line surround them on one side. She has signed and dated this one O. L. Hatley July 28, 1937. A few days later she finished the companion picture and signed and dated it, O. L. Hatley July 30th 1937. It only shows one larger boat peacefully in the cove surrounded by trees and shore on one side. Maybe she was on vacation and decided to paint the beautiful scenery as she relaxed on the shoreline. I guess one will never know for sure. The paintings appear to be in the original frames and are triple matted, focusing the attention on the paintings. The colors of the paintings are still bright and spot free.
