Awesome 10” English Porcelain Water Pitcher ~ Cobalt transfers of Japanese Fans & Prunus flowers ~ ‘ Livonia’ Pattern ~ Brown Westhead & Moore & Co Staffordshire England 1862 - 1904

What a splendid porcelain pitcher! Brown Westhead & Moore produced porcelain figurines, porcelain vases, tableware, tea sets, coffee sets, cup & saucers, chinaware, decorative porcelain. Upon the pitchers white background the factory has placed a deep cobalt blue transfer of Japanese Fans, prunus flowers on branches, ribbons and medallions. This transfer is under glaze and well protected. One fan has an Asian figure with a hat, holding a fan, sitting by floor vase with bamboo. One fan has a farm scene with buildings trees and clouds. The upper portion has a wide band of circular designs. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
