Colorful Faience / Earthenware Haynes Balt Ware Pitcher ~ Art Nouveau Pattern ca.1900 -1914 ~ DF Haynes (Chesapeake Pottery)

This piece still has nice bright colors and wonderful design. Its upper portion is painted a rusty red color and has raised relief designs enhanced with gold. Gold sponge has been applied to the inside scalloped rim of the pitcher. The lower portion has bright royal blues, greens, and reds painted in an art nouveau floral design on a creamy yellow background. The bottom footing is scalloped with gold accents. . Black outlines really make the artwork pop! The inside of the piece has a soft cream colored background. This piece has no cracks or chips and is in excellent condition for it's age. IT IS RARE TO FIND VINTAGE Earthenware IN "LIKE NEW" CONDITION BECAUSE OF WEAR FROM USE AND AGE. TINY GLAZE FLAKES AND CRAZING IF PRESENT IS NORMAL AND ADDS CHARACTER TO EACH PIECE.
