Fantastic French Faience Pitcher / Creamer ~ Cobalt with Colored Enamel ~ Keller & Guerin Luneville France 1890’s

This is an excellent example of French Faience by the very well know of company of Keller & Guerin. The mold has a slightly flared base, nice softly ridge side on the body, and a scalloped rim at the top. The background is a deep cobalt blue at the base and the top but gradually changes into a very light blue around the center of the pitcher. Golden floral like transfers are at the base and upper rim. White, yellow and blue raised enamel has been used to accent the floral design. They have finished this piece with a gold handle and upper rim. IT IS RARE TO FIND ANTIQUE FAIENCE IN "LIKE NEW" CONDITION BECAUSE OF WEAR FROM USE AND AGE. TINY GLAZE FLAKES AND CRAZING IS NORMAL AND ADDS CHARACTER TO EACH PIECE.
