MISC507: Nice Amber Iridescent Glass Perfume Bottle with DeVilbiss Atomizer ca 1920's

This is a nice little perfume bottle that makes the perfect accent in your bathroom or bedroom. It is amber iridescent color. It has a nice little shape and has a working bulb.

In 1888, Dr. Allen DeVilbiss founded The DeVilbiss Co of Toledo, Ohio. It was one of the largest and most successful makers of perfume atomizers in the United States. He was a general practitioner with a specialty in nose and throat afflictions. The atomizer perfume division closed in 1968. Many of the bottles imported by DeVilbiss were from Czechoslovakia and other countries. The DeVilbiss Company purchased these opulent bottles and fitted then with their hardware and atomizer bulbs.
