This gorgeous Madonna of Perpetual Help plaque would be a perfect addition to your vintage and antique Religious Collection, or the start of one. The center metal medallion features the Madonna and Child with halos. Around the Christ Childs halo are the initials OWN which means "He Who Is". The initials on the MP on the left and OY on the right of the medallion mean "Mother of God" or Theotokos, "God –Bearer". The IC XC mean "Jesus Christ". On the left side is the Saint Archangel Michael, carrying the lance and sponge of the crucifixion of Jesus. On the right is the Saint Archangel Gabriel carrying a 3-bar cross used by Popes at the time and nails. The medallion has been put into a recessed area of a wooden square wall plaque. Making this perfect for hanging. Measures: 4" W x 4" L x 1" H
