Elegant English China Sugar & Shaker with Silver Top~ White, Cobalt and Gold ~ George Jones & Sons England Pre 1921

These are just elegant and rich looking piece. They will definitely make your table pop! The pieces sit on a footed base that has a cobalt blue band surrounded by gold bands decorating it. The bodies have a fluted bell shape then come into a smaller neck area at the top. Gold sponge bands are on each side of the deep cobalt band on the upper portion of the pieces. The gold has also been carried onto the inside of the creamer rim and spout. The shaker has a electro-plated nickel silver pierced top giving it a very nice look. We are not sure of the pattern but George Jones pattern 2390 is very similar to this pattern. This piece is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.

Backstamp: CJ Crescent with Sons England C1594 The mark is probably pre 1921 as it has "ENGLAND" and not "MADE IN ENGLAND" according to the website "The potteries org".
