St. Anne ~ Mother of the Blessed Virgin Mary – 11 ½" Chalkware ~ Catholic Saint Statue ~ Made in Holland

This is a beautiful statue of Saint Ann with her daughter Mary reading a book. St Anne is the patron saint of mothers, grandmothers, grandparents, women in labor, housewives, homemakers and for many other. She is depicted in a brown, gold and blue garment with a white head cover. Mary is in a light blue gown holding a book. Ann has a slight nick on her nose but otherwise in very good condition for it's age. Please see pictures. IT IS RARE TO FIND VINTAGE PIECES IN "LIKE NEW" CONDITION BECAUSE OF WEAR FROM USE AND AGE. TINY GLAZE FLAKES AND CRAZING IS NORMAL AND ADDS CHARACTER TO EACH PIECE.

The back of this statue has Made in Holland impressed.

Measures: 11 1/2" H x 4 1/2" W at base x 3" D at base
