This would look so awesome in a den, studio, or library!! The background of this piece has been painted a rich brown color and in a deeper brown cigars with ashes and wood matches have been scattered over the sides and lid. This piece sits on four corner feet and has a gold finial. The underside of the lid has a whole with an old sponge still in it. The bottom of the base has a lighter brown background and the artist has signed and dated in “Jssabela Yahle 1913” there is a inner crack down one side when you look into the humidor but it is not noticeable at all from the outside. There are no chips; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
