1902 Celluloid & Velvet Yard Long Photo Album with Winter Scene ~ Inscribed – Early 1900's

This is a beautiful album even though it does have wear from use. The scene on the front is a beautiful winter scene with snow on the ground and lying softly on the tree branches. It has a mill with a water wheel covered in snow by an icy scream. On the upper portion of the album cover a goddess with a beautiful head dress is in a circular cut out. Raised scroll work and iris border the scene on the top and bottom. The binding is a leopard velvet green print, which is worn but still in tacked. About 20% of the inner pages have issues but the rest seem to be in good condition. The back of the album is a cream color with no design. The latch to this old girl is missing but the front picture makes up for the defect. We have included two old photos on card paper that were in the book and we felt that they should go with it. Inscribed "From Papa and Mama Dec 25 1902". There were also a few newspaper clippings from the early 60's .
