Plaster monogram shield-1889 German American Bank-National Register Historical Places-St.Joseph, Missouri

Very cool Architectural art. This is a plaster shield with inter-locking initials " GANB". The initials stand for the German-American National Bank. The bank is in St.Joseph, Missouri,built in 1889. The building was placed on the National Register in 1978. The listing number is 78001638.

The building under went restoration the 1970's at which time this shield was removed, and not re-used. The layers of white and green paint,as well as the workmanship chips are original to the restoration project.

Measures: 11 1/2" tall, 9" wide and 3" deep at its maximum's.

The bank building still stands today and is privately owned.
