EXQUISITE English Porcelain Bisque / Matte Dish ~ Hand Painted with Magenta and Golden Flowers ~ Royal Worcester England ~ 1888

Royal Worcester definitely out did themselves on this little beauty! It has a wonderful cream bisque finish for the background and slightly fluted sides with a gold scalloped rim. The artist has painted brown and green stems with sienna brown and green leaves. On one stem he has beautiful white and magenta flowers and on the other he has golden burnt orange flowers. He has outlined and accented the flowers, stems and leaves with coin gold giving it the Royal Worcester look. There is a small rim chip on the underside of the rim but it is not visible from the top. There are no hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.

Backstamp: Royal Worcester mark with a Z underneath. Measures: 6"W x 1" H
