This is a wonderful nappy decorated in the Pickard art nouveau fashion with delicate purple and white violets. They have been placed in three groups along the golden inside rim of the dish. Green stems come from each floral grouping to meet at the center with beautiful flowers. This has a nice pierced handle and wide gold rim. This plate bears the artist signature Ruth Alexander her work can be seen in the book " Collector's Encyclopedia of Pickard China" by Alan B. Reed 1995. There are no hairlines, chips or cracks; manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc
Measures: 6" L X 4 1/2" W x 2 1/2" H
