Buffalo Pottery Blue Willow Pattern Cup and Saucer- 1911

This Buffalo Pottery set is of the beautiful old Willow Pattern. The pattern tells a love story of a Chinese Maiden and her love for her man who was an employee of her father. Each section of the pattern tells part of their wonderful but tragic love story. The whole story is too long to put in this description but it is wonderful and makes the pattern come to life. Please check out the internet for the whole story it will change the way you look at this Willow pattern. Normal wear, light crazing and in good vintage condition.

Buffalo pottery was made in Buffalo, New York, after 1902. The company was established by the Larkin Company, famous manufacturers of soap. The wares are marked with a picture of a buffalo and the date of manufacture.
