Commemorate Old English Staffordshire Ware ~Blue Transferware Cup with the Washington's Headquarters ,Valley Forge PA. ~ William Adams Stoke on Trent / Jonroth Early 1900’s

This cup is done in a nice blue transfer on both sides of the cup that features Washington's Headquarters attributed to the William Adams CO and imported from England by Jonroth Company. The Adams factory is one that Jonroth was associated with for over 60 years. JONROTH are prolific importers of Stoke-on-Trent pottery into the USA, specializing in blue and pink historical or souvenir designs on the traditional blue (and pink) Staffordshire prints, This piece has not chips or cracks. It does have some stains on the rim so please see pictures. IT IS RARE TO FIND ANTIQUE EARTHENWARE IN "LIKE NEW" CONDITION BECAUSE OF WEAR FROM USE AND AGE. TINY GLAZE FLAKES AND CRAZING IS NORMAL AND ADDS CHARACTER TO EACH PIECE.

Measures: Cup: 3 3/8" w with handle x 2 1/4" H saucer: 5" W

Backstamp: Jonroth symbol Old English Staffordshire Ware
