Beautiful Royal Worcester Cup and Saucer Set ~ Robin Egg Blue and Burgundy ~ Royal Worcester Engalnd / Mermod &Jaccard Jewelry Co St. Louis 1889

This set has wonderful colors of robin egg blue with burgundy bands are separated by gold bands on the upper portion of the cup and the rim of the saucer. Golden lace flower transfers have been applied next to the burgundy color. The centers of the flowers in the lace have raised gold dots applied. The well of the saucer, the double looped handle and the inside of the cup have a white background giving a nice contrast to the other two bold colors. This piece is in "display'' condition due to a crack as seen in the pics. A nice addition for your collection at this price. Manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
