Fantastic Porcelain Demitasse Cabinet Cup & Saucer ~ Hand Painted Cobalt and Gold Embossed ~Fischer & Meig Pirkenhammer Czechoslovakia 1918-1938

Nothing says it more than cobalt & gold. This little beauty definitely catches your eye. This cup has a deep rich cobalt and white background inside and out. A wide gold embossed band with geometric design has been placed around the inside rim of the cup and saucer. Within the cobalt band there is a row of golden dots and two designs with raised green and red enamel giving the impression of flowers in a basket. Gold bands and lace designs accent the raised well of the saucer and the lower portion of the inside of the cup. The angular handle is also gold completing this piece nicely. There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc
