Awesome Master Bowl / Punch Bowl ~ Limoges Porcelain ~ Hand Painted with Currants ~ Signed M. Jones 1919 ~ Tressemann & Vogt ~ Limoges France 1907-1919

Can you imagine this filled with fresh fruit or filled to the brim with wonderful punch?? It would look wonderful even empty! Everywhere is hand painted except for the bottom. The artist has used soft hues of blue, purple yellow and red for the background on the inside and outside of the bowl. He has painted green un-ripened and red, ripened currants nestled amongst green leaves and brown stems. This piece is in excellent condition but does have a small flake that has been painted over on the rim, please see pictures. Manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
