Wonderful German Porcelain Bowl ~ Hand painted with Purple Violets ~ Krister Porcelain Factory Germany 1904-1927

This is a beautiful rendition of purple violets. The artist has painted a large group of the tiny delicate purple violet flowers and green leaves on one side of the bowl and has extended a few leaves and flowers up around the other side. The flowers have been done in hues of light and deep purple with red, yellow and black centers. The leaves have a mixture of greens making them look very realistic. He has painted the floral arrangement on a pale blue, white, background and added a nice amber color under the floral groupings. He painted a gold rim to finish off these beauties. There are no chips or cracks; manufacturing anomalies may exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.

We have a tea set POT28, 3 cups and saucers CUP209, and a set of plates PLT1159 that match this.
