Beautiful Limoges Porcelain Master Serving Bowl ~ Factory Decorated ~ Haviland France 1889 – 1931

Haviland, as usual, has produced a beautiful piece of porcelain. This bowl would make a great bowl to serve, salad, soup, stew or just about anything that demands a larger quantity. It sits on a footed base, has wide fluted sides and small row of beading around the scalloped rim. It has been decorated with red and green designs and placed under the beaded row in a swag effect. The feet, ornate handles and rim all have been accented with a rich gold color. There are no chips, hairlines or cracks; manufacturing anomalies do exist, the occasional tiny iron speck, dust 'bump' in the glaze, etc.
