C.T Germany- Giant Clam Shell Porcelain Bowl. Nearly 10'', handpainted with Dainty Purple Flowers.ca.1875-1934.

This ex-large clam shell shaped bowl just radiates with beauty. It is decorated with a transfer of delightful purple flower and gossamer greenery. Gold paint has been hand painted accenting the center of the flowers. The bowl has a soft hue of lilac ascending down the edges of the bowl gradually turning white. The lilac color has an almost matted finish turning into a shimmering glaze when reaching the white center. This bowl has a curved handle design on one side of the piece. Gold trim has been painted around the edge of the bowl and the handle also has gold accents. Some of the gold trim is a little worn otherwise it is in excellent conditions with no chips, cracks or crazing.

Bowl measures 9 3/4" L x 9 1/2" W x 2 7/8" D
